Part Time Punks pays tribute to The Original Punk, IGGY POP (aka James Newell Osterberg, Jr.), celebrating his 66th birthday this week! 

With a very special all-star tribute to The Stooges by the Raw Power Rangers, who will be playing "Raw Power" in its entirety. This all-star band features David Arnson as The Igster (Insect Surfers), Don Bolles as Scott 'Rock Action' Asheton on drums (Germs/45 Grave/Celebrity Skin/Fancy Space People), Andrew Scott as James Williamson on guitar (Farflung/Fancy Space People/Brainticket) and Mark Hoeschler as Ron Asheton on bass (Lawndale/Insect Surfers). 

The rest of the night will be devoted to an Ig-centric dance party (not to mention a heavy dose of the remarkable bands & singers inspired by the Original Punk aka David Bowie, Brian Eno, Lou Reed, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Cramps, Patti Smith, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Heartbreakers, New York Dolls, Nirvana, Jesus Lizard, Sonic Youth, Suede & more...)
