BROTHERS FROM BRAZIL are...well...two brothers from Brazil! Combining elements of traditional Brazilian music such as Bossa nova and samba with punk and post-punk. Already massive in South America, this tour marks the brothers' first trip to this continent...

PEARL HARBOUR (aka Pearl Harbour & The Explosions) was one of the first American New Wave bands in San Francisco. Forming in 1978, the band's debut 7" was a break out, selling more than 10,000 copies and even reaching the American Top 40 charts by 1980. The group became a Bay Area favorite and was an integral part of a fertile new wave scene that also spawned Romeo Void, Translator and Wire Train.

Garagey racket meets a Wedding Present whirl of skittering guitars. DIRT DRESS's appearance at PTP is about 3 years overdue. A quote from their own band bio sums up the band's style and sense of humor in a sentence: "Influences include: The Velvet Underground, The Fall, The Pixies, Bo Diddley, Talking Heads and a bunch of other crappy bands." Heh. Crappy, indeed.
