He wrote the song "In Heaven" in Eraserhead. The producer was this guy who used to be like the king of LSD in Los Angeles in the 60's. He lived in Laurel Canyon and was literally known as the "King of Acid". Basically after 'Burning' managed to get on, he was murdered and it was never solved. Everyone said it was David Jove, the Acid King, who killed him. He since died so it's an unsolved mystery- who killed Peter Ivers. There's a clip of us on that show and everyone who sees it can't believe it. That's how the album came out because the clip...we're so belligerent. Belligerent suburban punk rock kids. Pretty funny. If you go to youtube and search "Earth Dies Burning New Wave Theater," you will find it. It's so unreal. We had toy drums and a couple of cheap casios and a ten year old player. It made no sense. We were radical little politicos.
